About Us

We are a group of individuals with diverse academic backgrounds conducting research that contributes to the global effort to control two infectious diseases of public health importance: tuberculosis (TB) and HIV.

Our group includes individuals with training in clinical medicine, epidemiology, statistics, operations research, and physics. We collaborate closely with applied mathematicians, biostatisticians, and microbiologists. Our work is both applied and theoretical and we are currently engaged in research projects with partners in South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, and Peru.

We believe that the best solutions to the complex challenges associated with control of TB and HIV are likely to arise through collaborative work between individuals with different skills and perspectives. We welcome opportunities to widen our work through collaboration with others who are engaged in similar endeavors.
