Students receive course descriptions and information about course meeting times, registration procedures and requirements, course load requirements, and payment of tuition and fees prior to registration. Every resident degree candidate is expected to check in, in person, on the specified date. (August 28 for new students and September 4 for returning students in academic year 2007–08).
Cross-Registration
HSPH students may enroll in courses offered by the other Harvard faculties, MIT, and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Students intending to cross-register should be aware that registration deadlines and academic calendars vary from school to school; these students must conform to the registration requirements of the school into which they are cross-registering as well as those of HSPH.
Harvard University maintains an online catalog of all courses offered at the university. This catalog is searchable by school, topic, time, and instructor. Also listed at this site are relevant, school-specific crossregistration policies and credit equivalencies.
