Please carefully review the information below regarding the application process for Summer Session.
New HSPH Degree Applicants and Current Degree Students:
- All current HSPH degree applicants and students will be contacted separately in February with an email invitation to participate in the Summer Session.
Non-Degree Applicants:
- All non-degree applicants must apply for the Summer Session via SOPHAS. The deadline to complete and submit the application is February 1, 2012. **Please note: The application deadline for Summer Session has been extended to March 1, 2012.**
- Please refer to the Summer Session Application Instructions (includes TAF - Transcript Abbreviation Form) for guidelines regarding the application materials and process. This form also includes instructions on waiving the Letter of Recommendation requirement in SOPHAS.
The Summer Session for Public Health Studies provides the same academically rigorous courses offered to degree candidates during the regular academic year except they are compressed into three weeks of daily classes. The courses are very fast-paced, intense, and require the full participation of the student. These courses are taught by Harvard faculty.
