OUR RESEARCH

We study how biogeochemical processes affect the transport and distribution of chemicals in air, water and aquatic organisms.

We develop models that formalize our best-available scientific understanding of the environmental cycling of pollutants as a function of climate, meteorology and aquatic chemistry.

We apply these models to investigate changes with future emissions and climate and to anticipate human exposures and risks.
