Apply to HSPH for Fall 2009

Dear Fall 2009 Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH). We look forward to working with you throughout the upcoming application cycle and are happy to answer any questions you may have.

The Fall 2009 application for admission will be available through the Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS) at www.sophas.org by September 1, 2008. Please visit our Suggested Timeline for Preparing your Application (available as PDF) on the menu at the left-hand side of this page.

Harvard School of Public Health will receive only completed applications from SOPHAS.  Please note that SOPHAS states that it will take 4-6 weeks for your SOPHAS application to be processed and sent to HSPH. We encourage all applicants to submit their completed applications through SOPHAS prior to the stated application deadline. Please note that you may still submit your application up to and including the stated deadline date.

Applicants should check the SOPHAS portal to ensure that all required documents have been received by SOPHAS and that the application has been mailed to Harvard School of Public Health.

Special note: Please ensure that you submit the statement of purpose and objectives as required by the degree program to which you are applying. JD/MPH and non-residential, part-time master of science in health care management applicants are required to submit statements that differ from all other degree programs. Please see specific requirements for the statement of purpose and objectives at http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/administrative-offices/admissions/application-requirements/.
