Open Enrollment Announcements
The 2008 open enrollment period for active employees closed at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19th. If you made changes during the open enrollment period, you will receive a confirmation of elections in early December.
If you enrolled in a new medical and/or dental coverage, you will receive new dental plan card/s, health plan card/s, and/or Medco card/s in December. You will also receive new Medco prescription cards if you moved from Harvard Pilgrim to HUGHP or vice versa.
If you increased your supplemental life insurance election, you will receive a Statement of Health form in December. Any increase in supplemental life insurance will not be effective until MetLife receives and approves this completed form.
If you missed the deadline and need to make benefit changes for 2009, you may use the Open Enrollment Extension Form. If you only need to enroll in the flexible spending account, you may use the Open Enrollment Extension Form for FSA. BSG must receive your extension form and a letter explaining why the change is being requested outside of the open enrollment period by December 31, 2008.

Benefit Office Hours in the Longwood Medical Area
Benefits Office hours are available every Friday at 164 Longwood Ave between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m starting 9:30 and then on the half hour (10:30, 11:30, etc....). The duration is 45 minutes.
