Instructors can request additional software in the Microlab by contacting microlab@hsph.harvard.edu. The image is refreshed several times per year prior to the summer session, fall semester, and spring semester to accommodate new software, to update software licenses, and to make necessary upgrades to the operating system and software on the system.
Microlab Printing
All Microlab computers connect to high-speed printers. Printed output is double-sided by default, and multiple-pages-per-side printing can be requested on a job-by-side basis. We encourage you to use these features in order to conserve paper.
Students have an initial printing quota of 1000 free pages. This quota can be increased in 500-page increments for $10 (Checks only, no refunds). Please bring your check to the Microlab office in Kresge LL19 to request a quota increase.
Please dispose of your printer cover sheet in the recycling bins next to the printers.
