Entrance to HSPH

Effective July 1, 2007 the hours of security at the Kresge entrance will be expanded to the following schedule:

*Please note: entrance to Kresge at all other times may be achieved through the FXB entrance.

As always the FXB entrance will remain open 24 hours per day / 7 days a week.

Security officers will continue to ask for building and floor destination for off-hours sign-ins at all entrances. Please remember to sign-out with security via 2-1040 or in person at the FXB upon leaving.

Allied Barton Security is the contracted company for the Longwood Campus area and performs a variety of security functions within Harvard School of Public Health.

Two officers are assigned to the security desk in the lobby of the Francois Xavier Bagnoud (FXB) Building twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Their primary function is to check all incoming personnel for current Harvard University identification cards. These officers also function as a resource in that they will contact you or any of your department's faculty and staff if you are expecting a non-Harvard guest. They will also furnish directions to your offices if you request.

Personnel leaving the school after 12:00 AM should exit from the FXB lobby. The exit doors in Kresge are alarmed after 12:00 AM unless prior arrangements have been made to post a guard at the desk.
