Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance (3)

University Health Services Fee (4)
Compulsory for all resident students taking more than 10 credits per semester. Part-time students taking 10 credits or less may waive this fee and this coverage if on-line waiver form is completed prior to September 30th for fall, and February 28th for Spring.

1 - Please refer to information in HSPH Student Handbook on part-time matriculation including minimum tuition, loan eligibility, deferring prior loans and billing procedure for part-time students.
2 - Note that BC/BS insurance is not charged for part-time domestic (U.S. citizens and permanent residents) non-resident doctoral students. Therefore, if part-time domestic non-resident students desire BC/BS coverage, they should contact the Student Insurance Office at 617/495-2008. UHS fees are not charged for non-resident students.
3 - Family/spousal BC/BS health insurance is available to all students at a coverage fee of $3,287 for a student and spouse; $2,532 for a student and child; $4,345 for a student, spouse and child; and $4,892 for a student, spouse and children.
4 - Family/spousal UHS service is available to all students at a coverage fee of $3,218 for a student and spouse; $2,218 for a student and child; $4,010 for student, spouse and child; and $4,408 for a student, spouse and children.
