Africa Health Student Forum
The objectives of the Harvard School of Public Health African Health Forum are to:
- Create an opportunity to discuss important issues affecting Africa in terms of health and development and bring them to the fore of academic and professional discourse within the Harvard community
- Play an advocacy role where indicated to influence health policies and practices which are of concern in Africa
- Promote the health rights of people, especially vulnerable populations
- Create an opportunity to be involved with people and institutions working in Africa.
*These objectives may be achieved by planning internships and volunteer opportunities for people interested in working in Africa and by assisting in capacity-building in schools of public health & NGO’s.
