Health Insurance & University Health Services Fees Waivers
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires students attending three-quarter time or greater be covered by health insurance. Students with health insurance coverage may waive HUSHP Supplemental Insurance coverage (Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Hospital/Specialty and Medco Prescription Drug Coverage) only if the on-line waiver form is completed prior to September 30th for the fall, and February 28th for spring proving comparable coverage by U.S.-based insurance carrier.
Part-time students taking 10 or less credits may waive both HUSHP Basic and Supplemental coverage if the on-line waiver form is completed prior to September 30th for fall, and February 28th for spring.
