When possible, please consider using public transportation offered by the MBTA. The transit system is referred to as the “T.” The Harvard School of Public Health is on the “T” Green line “E branch” at the Brigham Circle stop and is also accessible via the 39 bus line. Limited street parking is available on Huntington Avenue; commercial garages are located on Longwood Avenue and Francis Street. No parking is available on campus.
FLYING INTO BOSTON
From the North or South:
Take I-93 North/South to the Storrow Drive exit. Follow Storrow Drive approximately 2.5 miles to the Kenmore Square exit (on the left). Stay to the left and bear right as you approach the traffic light and take Bolyston Street outbound. Keep to the right. You will pass a Shell gas station on the right and a Sunoco gas station on the left. Boylston Street merges into Brookline Avenue. Follow Brookline Avenue passing Beth Israel Hospital on your left. Watch for blue and white Longwood Medical Area signs. Take a left on Longwood Avenue. At the third traffic light, turn right onto Huntington Avenue. The School is located on the right.
From the West :
Via I-90 (Mass Pike)
Take I-90 (Mass Pike) to the Prudential Exit, which is under a long tunnel. This exit puts you on Huntington Avenue. Proceed straight on Huntington Avenue past Northeastern University, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Massachusetts College of Art. The School is located on the right just past the Longwood Avenue intersection.
Via Route 9 (Huntington Avenue):
Take Route 9 East into Boston. “T” trolley tracks in the road indicate you are approaching the Longwood Medical Area. HSPH will be on your left just past the Tremont Street/Francis Street intersection.
