Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Public Health, Harvard School of Public Health – Public health researchers are increasingly finding GIS to be an extremely valuable tool for organizing and analyzing health outcome data, estimating environmental exposures and displaying research results. While advances in hardware and software have made GIS capabilities readily available, researchers still face significant barriers to learning the software and to applying the software to their specific needs.
Harvard Prevention Research Center – The Harvard Prevention Research Center (HPRC) conducts community-based participatory research with our collaborators and partners in the community. This includes determinants, intervention and dissemination research.
