Jonathan Simon, doctoral student in the Department of Population and International Health, will present his thesis, "Social and Economic Differentiation in the Dhaka Slums: Marital Affairs, Migratory Movements, and Family Matters," on May 4 at 4:00 p.m. in SPH I-112.

Laura Reichenbach, doctoral student in the Department of Population and International Health, will present her thesis, "The Politics of Priority Setting: Reproductive Cancers in Ghana," on May 5 at 10:00 a.m. in FXB G-13.

Beth Molnar, doctoral student in the Department of Health and Social Behavior, will present her thesis, "Child Sexual Abuse: Links to Subsequent Psychopathology and High Risk Behavior," on May 5 at 10:00 a.m. in Kresge 213.

Jonathan Levy, doctoral student in the Departments of Environmental Health and Health Policy and Management, will present his thesis, "Environmental Health Effects of Energy Use: A Damage Function Approach," on May 5 at 1:30 p.m. in Kresge 502.

Hung-Yi Chuang, doctoral student in the Department of Environmental Health, will present his thesis, "Epidemiological Studies of Lead Exposure, Toxicity, and Dynamics," on May 5 at 3:00 p.m. in SPH I-1301.

William MacLeod, doctoral student in the Department of Population and International Health, will present his thesis, "The Decline of Child Morality in the Gambia," on May 5 at 3:30 p.m. in SPH I-1112.

Abdoulaye Dieng Sarr, doctoral student in the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases, will present his thesis, "Molecular Characterization of HIV-1 and HIV-2 Dual Infection in Senegal," on May 6 at 2:00 p.m. in FXB 301.

Nain-Feng Chu, doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology, will present his thesis, "Biological Markers of Obesity and Cardiovascular Disease Risk Factors Among Men," on May 7 at 12:00 p.m. in Kresge 904.

Sui-Yuan Chang, doctoral student in the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases, will present her thesis, "Molecular Characterization of Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type I Subtype E," on May 7 at 1:00 p.m. in FXB 301.

Marsha Ann Wilcox will take her oral qualifying exam for a doctoral degree in the Department of Epidemiology on May 7 at 2:00 p.m. in Kresge 904. Major: epidemiology; minor: psychiatric epidemiology. Donna Neuberg will chair the examination committee.

Susan Burt, doctoral student in the Department of Environmental Health, will present her thesis, "Work-Related Upper Extremity Musculoskeletal Disorders: Some Methodological Disorders," on May 7 at 3:00 p.m. in SPH I-1408.
