Fang-Ching Sun Award

Nominations are open for the Fang-Ching Sun award. The award, consisting of a plaque and money, will be given to an outstanding student who is graduating this year and who has demonstrated a commitment to promoting the health and well-being of underprivileged people.

To nominate a student, submit the student's name and a one-page description of the reasons why this student merits the award to Jane Gardner, senior lecturer, Department of Maternal and Child Health, Kresge 611, by April 16.

The award is in memory of Fang-Ching Sun, MPH '84, who had a brief but exemplary career improving the health and well-being of an underserved population in the rural mountains of his native Taiwan.
