Exams and Defenses

Zhenyu Wang, doctoral student in the Department of Biostatistics, will present his thesis, "Nonparametric Estimating Equations for Longitudinal Data," on August 14 at 10:30 a.m. in Kresge 606.

Peter Babich will take his oral examination for a doctoral degree in the Department of Environmental Health on August 20 at 12:00 p.m. in SPH I-B29. Major field: air pollution chemistry; minor fields: environmental health sciences and biostatistics. Ian Marschner will chair the examination committee.

Janice Weinberg, doctoral student in the Department of Biostatistics, will present her thesis, "Two Sample Linear Rank and Permutation Tests under General Alternatives, with Application to Summary Measures," on August 25 at 10:00 a.m. in Kresge 502.

Laura Linnan will take her oral examination for a doctoral degree in the Department of Health and Social Behavior on September 1 at 11:30 a.m. in Kresge 204. Major field: health and social behavior; minor fields: organizational behavior change and evaluation methods. Graham Colditz will chair the examination committee.
