Exams and Defenses

James Hudson, doctoral candidate in the Department of Epidemiology, will take his oral qualifying examination on December 19 at 1:30 p.m. in Kresge 203. Major: epidemiology; minors: theoretical statistics and applied statistics. Alexander Walker will chair the examination committee.

Ying Zhou, doctoral candidate in the Department of Environmental Health, will take her oral qualifying examination on December 19 at 2:00 p.m. in SPH I-1301. Major: environmental health science risk and decision science; minor: biostatistics. Jack Spengler will chair the examination committee.

Ke Hao, doctoral candidate in the Department of Environmental Health, will take his oral qualifying examination on December 21 at 3:00 p.m. in FXB G-10. Major: population genetics; minors; epidemiology and physiology. Nan Laird will chair the examination committee.

Marilyn Arnold, doctoral candidate in the Department of Health and Social Behavior, will present her thesis, "Developing and Testing a Melanoma Prevention Website that Targets Young Adults," on January 8 at 3:00 p.m. in Kresge 201.

Ritu Sadana, doctoral candidate in the Department of Population and International Health, will present her thesis defense, "Quantifying Reproductive Health and Illness: Ethnographic and Psychometric Perspectives," on January 10 at 10:00 a.m. in SPH I-1112.
