Exams and Defenses

Lisa Signorello will take her oral qualifying examination for a doctoral degree in the Department of Epidemiology on December 8 at 2:30 p.m. in Kresge 904. Major field: epidemiology; minor fields: cancer epidemiology and biostatistics. David Harrington will chair the examination committee.

David Studdert will take his oral qualifying examination for a doctoral degree in the Department of Health Policy and Management on December 9 at 1:00 p.m. in Kresge 406. Major field: health policy; minor fields: health law and economics. Katherine Swartz will chair the examination committee.

Hideki Hashimoto will take his oral qualifying examination for a doctoral degree in the Department of Health and Social Behavior on December 11 at 10:30 a.m. in Kresge 507. Major field: health communication; minor fields: quality of care research and qualitative methods. Marcia Testa will chair the examination committee.

Michie Hisada, doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology, will present her thesis, "Host Factors and Risk of Adult T-Cell Leukemia/Lymphoma," on December 12 at 2:00 p.m. in Kresge 904.
