Exams and Defenses

Susan Duty, doctoral candidate in the Department of Environmental Health, will present her oral examination on January 22 at 10:00 a.m. in SPH I-1408. Major: occupational health; minors: epidemiology and exposure assessment. David Christiani will chair the examination committee.

Yu-Sheng Lin, doctoral candidate in the Department of Environmental Health, will present his thesis defense, "Human Physiological Factors in the Respiratory Uptake of 1,3-Butadiene," on January 22 at 1:30 p.m. in SPH I-1301.

Marilyn Arnold, doctoral candidate in the Department of Health and Social Behavior, will present her thesis, "Developing and Testing a Melanoma Prevention Website that Targets Young Adults," on January 22 at 2:00 p.m. in FXB G-11.

Dinah Koehler, doctoral candidate in the Department of Environmental Health, will present her oral examination on January 23 at 11:00 a.m. in SPH I-1301. Major: risk management environmental science; minor: business and environment. Tim Ford will chair the examination committee.

Anne Riederer, doctoral candidate in the Department of Environmental Health, will present her oral examination on January 25 at 11:30 a.m. in SPH I-1301. Major: water pollution; minors: environmental health and risk exposure assessment and environmental chemistry. Joseph Harrington will chair the examination.

Jihong Liu, doctoral candidate in the Department of Population and International Health, will present her oral examination on January 25 at 2:00 p.m. in SPH I-1104A. Major: population and reproductive health; minors: epidemiology and biostatistics. Xiping Xu will chair the examination committee.
