Lecturer Appointed

Thomas Bossert has been appointed lecturer on international health policy in the Department of Population and International Health. In 1994, Bossert began work as a senior political scientist and lecturer for the International Health Systems Group in the department. He has contributed to several projects concerning the decentralization and reform of health care systems in other countries and has worked with the World Bank, Interamerican Development Bank, and the US Agency for International Development. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1976 and attended HSPH on a post-doctoral fellowship from 1978 to 1980.
