  • The François-Xavier Bagnoud Center for Health and Human Rights is accepting submissions for the 1999 Health and Human Rights Essay Award. This award recognizes the best student essay or other paper of outstanding scholarship and creativity linking health and human rights.

    Permitted entries include papers prepared in courses or seminars, dissertations, op-ed pieces, articles, or any other original work. Preference is given to individual rather than collective work. The award includes a certificate and a $200 prize.

    Submissions should be sent with a cover note by April 12 to the following address: Health and Human Rights Essay Award, FXB Center for Health and Human Rights, 651 Huntington Avenue, 7th floor, Boston.
