Tanuja Rastogi, doctoral candidate in the Department of Nutrition, will present her thesis defense, "Risk Factors for Coronary Heart Disease Among Indians: Findings from a Multi-Center, Case-Control Study in New Delhi and Bangalore," on March 19 at 2:30 p.m. in Kresge G-2.
Marilyn Arnold, doctoral candidate in the Department of Health and Social Behavior, will defend her thesis, "Developing and Testing a Melanoma Prevention Website," on March 20 at 11 a.m. in FXB G-11.
Emily Martin, doctoral candidate in the Department of Biostatistics, will take her oral examination on March 21 at 3:30 p.m. in SPH II-426. Major: biostatistics; minors: theoretical statistics and environmental epidemiology. Louise Ryan will chair the examination committee.
Yu-Chu Shen, doctoral candidate in the PhD Program in Health Policy,
will present her thesis defense, "The Effect of Market Reforms and
Ownership Choice on the Quality of Care in Hospitals," on March 22
at 1:00 p.m. in the Fainsod Room, JFK School of Government, 79 JFK Street,
Cambridge.
