Faculty Members Recognized

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), a scientific society of over 15,000 laboratory and clinical cancer researchers, has recognized the work of two HSPH faculty members. Walter Willett, Fredrick Stare professor of epidemiology and nutrition, and Leona Samson, professor of toxicology, will receive awards at the AACR Annual Meeting, which will take place from April 1 to 5 in San Francisco, CA. Willett will receive the American Cancer Society Award for Research Excellence in Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention. Samson will receive the AACR-Women in Cancer Research Charlotte Friend Memorial Lecture Award.
