Alumni Return to Campus for Weekend

Dozens of HSPH alumni returned to the school on Friday, May 5 for a weekend of lectures and activities sponsored by the Office for Students.

Three alumni were offered awards of merit at a special dinner. They were: Jeffrey Koplan, MD, MPH '78, current director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Roslyn Fishman, MPH '45, former vice president of the American Public Health Association; and Maurice Keenan, MD, MPH '77, assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at HMS and former president of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Koplan was not present at the dinner.

Alumni also met with current HSPH students at a forum entitled, "What Advice Do You Have for Us?"
