Occupational Health Library Gets "Jukebox" Thanks to Professor Emeritus

From left to right, William Burgess, professor emeritus, Tom Smith, professor of industrial hygiene, and Robert Herrick, lecturer on industrial hygiene, all in the Department of Environmental Health, check out new hardware for the department's occupational health library. The technology, known colloquially as a "jukebox", was purchased from a $10,000 donation made by Burgess and allows students to access CDs of textbooks and other reference material from their own computers. It is the first system of its kind at the school, said Herrick.
