Exams and Defenses

Tianxi Cai will take her oral examination for a doctoral degree in the Department of Biostatistics on November 23 at 10:00 a.m. in SPH II-426. Major field: biostatistics; minor fields theoretical statistics and health policy and management. Stephen Lagakos will chair the examination committee.

Blythe Berger, doctoral student in the Department of Maternal and Child Health, will present her thesis, "Frequent Family Mobility: Implications for Behavior Cognition and Health in Young Children," on November 23 at 2:00 p.m. in Kresge 439.

Sonia-Hernandez Diaz will take her oral examination for a doctoral degree in the Department of Epidemiology on December 2 at 1:30 p.m. in FXB G-13. Major field: epidemiology; minor fields: biostatistics and health policy and management. Milton Weinstein will chair the examination committee.

Nicholas Horton, doctor of science candidate in the Department of Biostastistics, will present his thesis, "Use of Multiple Informant Data as a Predictor in Psychiatric Epidemiology," on December 3 at 10:30 a.m. in SPH II-426.
