First Lady of Tanzania Visits HSPH
The First Lady of
Tanzania, Mama Anna Mkapa, visited the school on September 14. She met
with researchers who do work based in Tanzania and talked about her new
foundation, Equal Opportunities for All, which provides economic and educational
opportunities for women. Mkapa, on the left, is pictured here with Deborah
Prothrow-Stith, professor of public health practice and associate dean
for faculty development.
