Exams and Defenses

Sandra Guzman Garcia, doctoral student in the Department of Population and International Health, will present her thesis, "The Context for Contraceptive Decisions: Preferences, Self-Empowerment, and Partner Interactions Among Mexican Women," on October 7 at 2:00 p.m. in FXB G-11.

Emily Feinberg will take her oral examination for a doctoral degree in the Department of Maternal and Child Health on October 7 at 12:30 p.m. in Kresge 209. Major field: maternal and child health; minor fields: quantitative methods and economics in health. Katherine Schwartz will chair the examination committee.

Sebastian Schneeweiss will take his oral examination for a doctoral degree in the Department of Epidemiology on October 9 at 8:30 a.m. in Kresge 904. Major field: epidemiology; minor fields: biostatistics and pharmaceutical evaluation. Robert Glynn will chair the examination committee.
