The field of human epigenetics is inherently multi-disciplinary. So, too, are the interests and skills of the members of the research team, which extend across a range of complementary expertise in epigenetics, molecular biology, environmental health, epidemiology, computational biology and biostatistics. With our roots in the basic sciences, we are able to confront the most pressing diseases and conditions of our time — fetal growth retardation, childhood obesity, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, and cognitive aging — by adding to our knowledge of the environmental and societal forces underlying disease.
