Joining an institution which makes a positive impact on Botswanas epidemic is a great opportunity for me to continue helping find solutions to this problem."
A member of the Royal College of Physicians, Dr. Makhema attended Gaborone Secondary School, and received his university education at the University of Botswana, the University of Nairobi in Kenya (where he attained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery), and Montreal Sick Childrens Hospital.
