Objectives:
A multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind vaccine trial to evaluate the safety and tolerability of escalating doses of the alphavirus replicon HIV-1 subtype C gag vaccine (AVX101) in healthy HIV-1-uninfected adult participants.
Enrollment: May 2005–September 2005 (Site was on-target to complete enrollment, but trial was stopped due to product manufacturing issue)
