SSH and File Transfer |

There
is software for shell access or file transfer provided by HSPH and by
GSAS (if you are in the PhD program) that can be downloaded from the respective
websites; HSPH
and FAS.
Secure CRT is the SSH client that is available from both HSPH IT and FAS. AbsoluteFTP on the HSPH website and SecureFX on the FAS website are secure applications available for file transfer. To access HSPH, FAS, or local servers via FTP, the correct protocol is SFTP and the port is 22. To access HSPH, FAS, or local servers via SSH, the protocol is SSH-1 and the port is 22.
