Research Interest:

Alex is interested in understanding signaling mechanisms controlling cell growth and proliferation. He is studying how the TSC complex regulates mTOR and how changes in TSC complex activity causes proliferative disorders in humans with the goal of identifying new strategies for therapeutic intervention.
