Research Interests:  

Molecular mechanisms of oncogenic signaling. Christian’s research is revealing the complex wiring of pathways involving Akt, the TSC1-2 complex, and mTOR, including important feedback and cross-talk mechanisms. Understanding this complexity is essential to properly target these pathways for the treatment of tumor syndromes and cancer.
