Research Interests: Jess is interested in the effects of mTOR signaling on cellular metabolic pathways, with an emphasis on the control of de novo lipid synthesis through the SREBP transcription factor.  Her research is geared toward revealing novel therapeutic approaches for mTOR-driven pathological states, including tumor syndromes, cancer, and metabolic diseases.
