Eleanor Murray has been fascinated by infectious disease since the age of 12, when her family moved to rural Thailand. There, disease commonly left tragedy in its wake. Today, Murray is passionate about modeling the way in which weather and climate change influence the transmission of malaria and other illnesses. she plans to develop an early warning system for disease outbreaks.
