Studying health inequalities

“I love teaching; I love speaking; and I love inspiring other people to be passionate about what I’m passionate about.”

Clare Rosenfeld Evans was seven years old when she was diagnosed with diabetes. She began volunteering for diabetes organizations two weeks later and never stopped. As a teenager, she led a successful effort to inspire the United Nations to establish an annual World Diabetes Day. Later, while visiting Bangladesh, she promised herself that she would do something with her future to improve conditions for the children she saw begging on the streets. At HSPH, Clare is studying the causes of health inequalities.
