Alumni Advisor Network FAQs
The Alumni Advisor Network is composed of HSPH alumni from various disciplines and Professional backgrounds who are available to provide advice and networking suggestions.

Q) Who are the HSPH Alumni Advisors?
A) Experience professional willing to assist and guide students through the career development and job search process. All the Advisors have a professional role outside HSPH.
Q) How can an Alumni Advisor assist me?
A) The Advisors are and excellent resource for helping students develop job strategies, networking and interviewing techniques.
Q) When can I schedule a meeting with an Advisor?
A) Students and Advisors will need to determine that on an individual basis. The Advisors time is limited, so please keep that in mind when trying to schedule a conversation time.

Q) How do I choose the right Advisor?
A) Finding the right Advisor is important. You should select an Advisor based on your interested and needs. If unsure who you should choose, you can contact the HSPH Career Services Office for assistance at: careers@hsph.harvard.edu.
Q) How do I schedule a conversation?
A) Once you have identified an Advisor, you should contact them directly. Their email address can be found on the HSPH Portal.
Q) Can I meet with more than one Advisor?
A) Yes, but please don’t abuse the system. Occasionally, students will want to have a conversations with one advisor for industry/professional guidance and second for more career strategy advice.
Q) How many times can I contact my Advisor?
A) Typically one or two times per academic semester. This may vary by student’s needs and interest and Advisor’s schedules.
