Hands-on, Practical Solutions to In-field Filter Testing Technology– Taught by Leaders in the Field

Please Note: This is a limited capacity program. Please be sure to register early to ensure your place at this program.

Program Overview

Learn the latest air-cleaning techniques and regulatory requirements for in-place filter testers. This practical course is an essential component of preparing individuals to test and certify systems containing HEPA filtration and gas adsorption systems.

Wide-ranging ventilation topics are covered including nuclear and non-nuclear applications relevant to the following industries:

What You Will Learn

Special Features

No aspect of nuclear technology is independent of a need to maintain air purity. The technology crucial to nuclear air cleaning is rapidly changing and the regulatory requirements are complex. This course offers essential hands-on training as well as theory-based knowledge that will provide you with the experience and knowledge you need to meet the daily challenges of working with nuclear technology.

Nuclear technology originated a half century ago by the military as well as the Atomic Energy Commission and is still firmly based on the developments and refinements of the nuclear industry. Over the years, it has been extensively borrowed and adapted by other industries such as clean room construction, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biosafety, and, most recently, the defense industry.

“I took this course to gain the knowledge necessary to perform filter testing. The hands-on operation of the equipment and testing methods was invaluable, but the classroom sessions on how HEPA filters actually work was very informative as well. This program exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend it.”
