Our events of the century

On October 24, 2013, Harvard School of Public Health–now the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health–celebrated its 100th birthday with a medal ceremony honoring President Bill Clinton, World Bank Group President Dr. Jim Yong Kim, former Director-General of WHO Gro Harlem Brundtland, and Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation Chelsea Clinton. At a gala event that evening, the School launched its new fundraising campaign and also received birthday wishes for its contributions to global health from Bill and Melinda Gates, Elton John, U2’s Bono and Edge, and Christy Turlington Burns.

A look back at 100 years of accomplishments at the School and a look forward to a new century of improving health for all.
