claudette headshot (claudetteheadshot.jpg)Claudette Agustin is Executive Assistant in the Center, reporting to Director Lisa Berkman. She is responsible for maintaining Professor Berkman's schedule, setting up and maintaining files, coordinating travel arrangements, among other duties. She also supports the Center's programs, including managing logistics for events including ongoing seminars, conferences and social events, as well as the marketing initiatives.

 

Dana Berry (danaheadshot2.JPG)Dana Berry serves as a research assistant for the Center's Data Management team. She provides assistance with quantitative analyses, data interpretation and general statistical consulting. Dana is currently a Masters student in the Department of Biostatistics at HSPH and has a background in statistics and sociology with prior experience analyzing data for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (NIOSH/CDC).

 

rachel headshot (rachelheadshot.jpg)Rachel Boyce serves as a Data Coordinator in the Center's Research Computing Core. She works towards the development and maintenance of a centralized data repository, assisting in both the acquisition and harmonization of population datasets, as well as developing documentation for data housed at the Center. Additionally, she provides technical support for basic hardware issues, as well as for a number of software packages. Ms. Boyce has prior experience managing study data for research projects in the Exposure, Epidemiology, and Risk program at HSPH.

Panka Deo serves as Office Manager/Financial Assistant for the Center. His responsibilities include processing of reimbursements and vendor payments, maintaining stock of office and kitchen supplies, mail distribution, Fedex, telephones, assisting with basic IT issues, and overall building maintenance. 

 

 

martha headshot (marthaheadshot.jpg)Martha Fay is Director of Data Management. She and her team provide advanced quantitative data modeling, analysis and interpretation assistance to the affiliated researchers in the Center and will work closely with the IT department in designing systems to support these efforts. She is also be responsible for management of enclaved and confidential data. Ms. Fay has acted as Director of Data Management on a number of projects in HSPH's Environmental Health Department as well as Society, Human Development, and Health.

 

kirk headshot (kirkheadshot.jpg)Kirk Kinder serves as the Director of Administration and Finance for all the center's activity. He is responsible for budget planning, endowment and grants management, proposal preparation, plus operations functions and staffing needs of the Center. He has many years of experience at HSPH as administrator in the Department of Environmental Health where he managed a large portfolio of sponsored funding, and at FAS in the Department of Romance Languages where he oversaw the significant research and teaching operations of the department.

 

Emily O'Donnell (emilyheadshot.JPG)Emily O'Donnell serves as a Program Coordinator. In this capacity, she works alongside Harvard faculty to manage Center-sponsored exploratory workshops and other events from start to finish. In addition, Ms. O'Donnell assists with quantitative analyses in collaboration with the Research Computing Core and serves as a contributing writer for the Center's publication, The Bow Street Bulletin. Ms. O'Donnell received a Masters of Science degree from HSPH.

This arm of the Center encompasses the educational and training initiatives, regular and special events including seminars, marketing, and development areas. Ms. Price leads these efforts and is  responsible for setting programmatic goals, building strategic partnerships both domestically and internationally, and disseminating through various channels the work and accomplishments of the Center. She has over 15 years experience in project management, marketing, and development at both Harvard and other academic institutions.  

 

Mack Ramsey (mackheadshot.JPG)Mack Ramsey is a part time Information Specialist in the Center's Research Computing Core. In his 29 years at HSPH he has focused on managing data sets generated by public health studies. He also pursues a career as a musician, specializing in the performance of early music.
