Xinjiang TCM Delegation Visited HSPH China Initiative

Headed by Dean Dongqing An, a delegation of seven students from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Xinjiang Medical University visited Boston. Meetings and collaborations with HSPH’s China Initiative occurred over a one-week period in March 2013.

Founded in 1940’s, the Xinjiang TCM School is the only institution of higher education to focus on traditional Chinese medicine in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is affiliated with an 1800 bed teaching hospital.
