Gareth M. Green Award
The Gareth M. Green Award for Excellence in Public Health is given to a student or student team for a practice project conducted while enrolled at HSPH. The project must contribute to the improvement of the health of a defined population and make a significant contribution to the work of the organization, agency, or community in which it is being conducted. The award is sponsored by the Office for Educational Programs and is given in memory of Gareth M. Green, M.D. Dr. Green served as HSPH’s Associate Dean for Professional Education from 1990 – 1998 and as the first chair of the Advisory Council of the Division of Public Health Practice.

Who is eligible to receive the Gareth M. Green Award?
HSPH students graduating in the 2012-2013 academic year.
Who may submit a nomination?
HSPH faculty, staff, and students. Students may nominate themselves.
When is the deadline for nominations?
