PARTNERING WITH HSPH IS GOOD BUSINESS

Today’s public health challenges — from AIDS in Africa to childhood obesity in the United States — demand innovative solutions from the best minds in academia and the private sector.

The Harvard School of Public Health, a global leader in scientific research and public health education, has been confronting critical issues affecting the world’s health for more than eighty years.

By bringing together the most talented and committed faculty and students, and by convening experts from around the globe, we are playing a pivotal role in fighting the major public health challenges of the 21st century.

Our targets: old foes such as AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis, which kill 7 million people worldwide annually; new global epidemics that arise with modernization, such as obesity, diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and asthma; environmental threats, violence and social disparities that harm billions around the world.

HSPH’s corporate partnership program offers a wonderful opportunity for companies to participate in our work and help improve the health of their employees, their customers, and the communities in which they do business around the world.

Faculty and researchers at HSPH work closely with companies like ExxonMobil, Liberty Mutual, and Eli Lilly and Company on issues such as workplace injuries, medical errors, and environmental health.

Types of partnerships range from sponsoring a symposium on a key topic of interest to establishing a named fund for faculty research and teaching, capital projects or special initiatives.
