

The Initiative's Executive Council is comprised of a group of 8-10 individuals who bring with them a broad range of international expertise and influence further the efforts of the Initiative. Executive Council members, who come from a variety of sectors including industry, government, and academia, are appointed to serve a 5-year renewable term. The mandate of the Executive Council is to offer advice and support to the management of the Initiative in the areas of strategic planning, financial planning, and fundraising. Members are encouraged to utilize their perspective and expertise to introduce the Initiative's mission to new audiences and help develop new resources and financial support for the Initiative. Executive Council members do not bear any fiduciary or legal responsibility.
In exchange, Executive Council members have opportunities to interact and network with School faculty and impressive Council members. Most importantly, Executive Council members have the opportunity to shape the future of environmental and public health research, education, and policy in the Mediterranean region and beyond.
