Dean Khaksari heads the Office of International Programs and is committed to establishing the Sawyer School as a cutting-edge, globally focused academic institution that prepares men and women to lead successful global businesses. Dr. Khaksari has consulted for a wide variety of clients in the private and public sectors in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and South America, including Kraft Industries, Liberty Mutual, and Smith Barney. He has developed and conducted executive training programs for a number of Fortune 500 companies such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, State Street Bank, and Gillette. He is an expert in international finance, strategic finance, fixed income, and portfolio management. Dr. Khaksari has published numerous research articles in various prestigious journals in finance and the co-author of two books. He earned his Ph.D. in international finance and MBA major in accounting from St. Louis University. Dr Khaksari is a Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA). He is the founder of the several programs at Suffolk University, including Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Financial Services and Banking, Master of Science in Finance-JD program, and Global Master of Business Administration (GMBA). In addition, he founded an educational company, AIAF, which was acquired by Washington Post in 1999. |
