Winter 2013 Welcome Back Message from Dean Frenk
Dear Colleagues,
Welcome back! I hope that each of you had an enjoyable break, filled with special time in the company of friends and family. A brief retreat from the whirlwind of our daily lives can be extraordinarily restorative, and I hope that the New Year finds you refreshed with renewed energy.
The coming months promise to be a particularly exciting time for us at the School, as 2013 is our Centennial year. The official celebrations will begin in September 2013, although much planning is already underway for what we can be sure will be extraordinary festivities. I look forward to celebrating our many accomplishments from the past hundred years. In addition, this special milestone will provide the opportunity for us to share our plans for shaping the future of public health education for the next hundred years.
I look forward to celebrating our Centennial year together, and wish each of you a healthy and productive New Year!
Best wishes,
Julio Frenk
Dean of the Faculty
