Good news in regards to environmental sectors of the job market!  According to the July 13th report, released by the Obama Administration by Christina Romer and Jared Bernstein, states that "Jobs in the healthcare and environmental sectors are growing at a faster rate than those of the U.S. economy as a whole" Visit this article in Time; or this article from CNBC.

John Briscoe enjoyes another day in the limelight in this weeks recent publication regarding his joint appointment at both SEAS and HSPH.  Briscoe's cultural comfort has been his guide amid what he calls the "Changing economic geography" of the world.  However painful and disorienting the current financial crisis, he insists that the true mover and shaker of the planet has never been the markets.  It is instead the ebb and flow of the oceans.
