Announcing a New Leadership Workshop
“Power & Differences” for All HSPH Students
We are excited to offer a new workshop for the next generation of HSPH public health leaders and practitioners. This program will explore a new dimension in leadership by developing the ability to work and interact effectively in a multi-cultural global world. Each workshop is designed to facilitate an understanding of cross-cultural perspectives through experiential learning and dialogue. Topics such as social class, race, gender and sexual orientation will be discussed in a safe and constructive environment for the purpose of reflection and self-awareness.
This is a collaborative effort involving staff and faculty from the Office of Educational Programs, the Center for Public Health Leadership, the Office of Diversity, and the Office for Student Affairs. It is part of the ongoing effort at HSPH to enhance leadership skills in our students.
Enrollment is limited to 35 students. Attendance and full participation are paramount to the success of this workshop. A $30 deposit is required for enrollment and will be refunded on full attendance and participation.
