Battery Recycling
Battery recycling collection station are located on each floor throughout the school, and are made up of a blue” recycle” basket with two smaller containers inside for different battery types. Batteries that can be collected include:
- Lithium (often from laptops) in the center large blue bucket
- Alkaline (regular batteries) in the small black insert
- Nickel-cadmium (from watches, cell phones, etc.) in the gray insert
Don’t have a battery recycling station or sign on your floor?? Call or email Operations to get a bin, or click on the image above to print out a sign. Please don’t mix the battery types, as they must be separate for collection and safety purposes.
